Macklin is owned by Donald and Suzanne Zeleznik, currently in E. ID, and bred by WindyCanyon Labradors. He was the only male born in that litter of 5 puppies, and they graciously offered me breeding rights to him. I am so pleased with the way he has turned out that I used Macklin at stud personally. So far he has produced 2 very large litters of 12 and 11.

MACKLIN'S PEDIGREE

Macklin is an avid hunting dog. Macklin and Don spend many many days in the duck blind and in the field for pheasant and partridge in Oregon, Idaho and South Dakota. He had already retrieved more than 400 ducks and geese and flushed and retrieved more than 50 pheasants etc in live hunting situations at age 3. He handles triples and blind retrieves with ease. Don and I had fun handling Macklin to his JH (Junior Hunter) title in 4 straight tests in 2014 where he received great critiques and scores by the judges.

Turbo is owned by Sarah Nott of Boise, ID, and bred by WindyCanyon Labradors. I had met Sarah online years ago through our work with Lab Rescue, then finally met in person back in ~2006 where our dogs won their obedience classes at a Lab Specialty. We met up again a few years later at a trial, and it was about that time that Sarah started eyeing my program for her next performance prospect. She came fully intent on a BLACK male, but left w/ a "brown one", and the rest is history in the making! At age 4 he was already titled in obedience, hunt test, agility and tracking; he quickly switches gears to visit the nursing home as a certified therapy dog as well. Turbo completed 200 Therapy Dog visits recently (2023) to earn his Therapy Dog Excellent status!

Turbo has passed all of his health and breeding clearances and sired his first litter at WindyCanyon in May of 2016. He now has 7 AKC conformation (show) points as well as his UKC Grand Champion title and IntCH title. Turbo finished his Utility Obedience (UD) title at 4.5 yrs old. He also recently earned his Senior Hunter (SH), Rally RAE and Rally Master Titles. Turbo became a Rally obedience Champion (RACH) on 10/16/2022 (and on same day, won Winners Dog from the show ring as well!). I'm told by Sarah that she's going back to work on his Master Hunter title-- YIPPPEEE!!!!

"Russell" is a happy, gentle boy whether in the show ring, obedience ring or hunt test field. He has never met a stranger-- human or canine. He recently earned his first AKC show point.

Russell started and finished three rally/obedience titles going three for three each time in Summer 2017, with limited practice. He finished his CD title with a score of 193 and a class 1st. Russell loves to be in the exciting show environment, yet has nice focus and self control. He is in training for graduate novice and UKC obedience in the future.

He is very birdy and loves getting into heavy cover to flush everything with feathers. He has gone two for two in HRC started and will be working on finishing started level. Russell has finished his AKC junior hunter (JH), passing 4 for 4 tests and recently wrapped up his Rally Advanced (RA) title as well.

SARGE'S PEDIGREE

Sarge is so much like his sire and grandsire! He's a happy go lucky boy with a tail that just won't quit. Loves everyone and everything, and is a super trainable dog as evidenced by his recent accomplishments in the Rally and Obedience rings after a mere 4 months of training here. He even won High In Trial on his titling run for his Companion Dog (CD); his enthusiasm in the ring made a lot of fellow competitors and judges smile too! We hope to get more hunt test training done now as he LOVES his birds and water. Sarge also recently earned his first AKC conformation point after a very late start at age 6!

Arlo recently earned his AKC Master Hunter (MH) title before his 4th birthday with a great pass rate! He is a happy, affectionate guy with a super work ethic and was dubbed "the little yellow show dog who could" by the judges at one of his recent Master hunt tests. He also earned himself a spot at the coveted Master Nationals this year and did us all proud!!! To top it all off, he proved not only is he smart, but handsome as well, earning his INT CH handily.

Arlo is owned by Bob & Lili Lobingier, of Portland, OR, and bred by WindyCanyon Labradors. Their male, Higgins, is sire of this litter and we also co-own a younger black brother, Nick, who we have equally high hopes for from a repeat breeding in 2021 and he has passed all of his breeding clearances (OFA Excellent Hips, Normal Elbows, annual Eyes, normal ACA / Echo cardiac). Honey, on my Girls page, is also a littermate to Arlo. So far, Arlo has sired 3 very nice litters of performance pups and has a new litter on the way in April of 2024 with Kolfyre Labs.
